A top FBI agent broke up a burglary investigation involving a cellphone in a Washington state town last week, according to the Washington Post.
The incident happened at a home in the city of Puyallup, Washington.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of an unnamed suspect on charges of stealing and selling cell phones, the Post reported.
The Post did not identify the homeowner.
According to the Post, FBI agents broke up the burglary investigation when they discovered the cellphone and found it was missing from a bag of phones and other items.
The Post also reported that agents recovered evidence that led to the arrest.
